„…it might seem like cliché, but I adored gems since when I was only 5 years old!”

I know in today’s world it sounds like a fairy tale if a grown up woman says she already knew what she wanted to be in her childhood. But if I think about it more, this didn’t exactly happen to me either. The love for minerals and gems formed within me when I was 4-5 years old. I remember when I sat in the middle of gravels and I tried to break the stones that I found, and I was looking for the shiniest. Until my family swam or lay in the sun I collected and inspected the minerals and „treasures” like shells, corals and starfish that I found during holidays.

As years passed my enthusiasm hasn’t worn out – for the joy of my parents, because they had to took me to every mineral exhibition and I returned home with the most shiny prey. (That’s true until today too, except that I go alone now. :D)

Of course when I chose my profession I went for a „sure source of living” and I learned economy and I don’t regret anything! Because during my studies I learned all kinds of basics and secrets to start and run a successful company!

The result of my childhood passion and many year’s knowledge is Sophie Molnar Design, which was born in 2012. Our fairy tale is a modern, consciously built story from where passion can’t be missing. It pushed me forward and thanks to that I can be part of wonderful adventures like mining manually diamond and tourmaline, or designing jewelry for wonderful people!

I’m in a lucky situation because I can really do what I love day by day, but I also make efforts to do it. Personally I believe that an expert can be prominent to his/her own specialization if he/she has ambition, enthusiasm and desire for development!

I know that I own these traits because I become incredibly enthusiastic when I hold a unique and little mineral or brilliant diamond in my hands. I just love my profession and I’m very thankful that more and more people honor me with theirs trust.
